No Name Deli has been a beloved staple in downtown Columbia for more than 30 years on the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Marion Street. Now, customer soon will be able to enjoy it in Forest Acres. It was announced Tuesday on the restaurant’s social media that No Name Deli will be opening a second location at 4712 A Forest Drive.
The restaurant is known for its variety of lunch items including large Greek salads, fresh sandwiches, pimento cheeseburgers, pasta salads and more. According to the announcement, all the same favorites will be offered at its new location.
The post on the business Facebook page was met with a large amount of excitement from loyal customers and those looking forward to trying it out. “Have no fear, we will still remain at our original location on the corner of Marion & Elmwood. We’ll see you soon in the Acres!” the post reads. Within the first hour of the announcement, it had dozens of comments and had already been shared by more than 100 people.
The Forest Acres No Name Deli will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Although an official opening date has not been announced, business owner say will be opening in September. Find out more details about the restaurant at nonamedelisc.com.
